It might not be Xmas and new year yet, but we are at the end of our first “semester” of events and would therefore like to thank our fantastic external speakers who came along and shared their knowledge with our businesses at events and workshops.

Blue Bird CRM

Will Ingleby from Bluebird CRM

Will shared his expertise on email marketing at our June event. Will said the slightly bad news might be that lots of people are already doing email marketing, but the good news is that lots of them are getting it wrong, so still great opportunities in email marketing for SMEs.
Please contact Will if you are looking for help with your email marketing campaigns.

Susan Hallam

Susan Hallam from Hallam Internet Marketing

Susan kindly came to speak to us about how to optimise for “universal search”, i.e. getting found for video, images, social media content etc.
This was a great event followed by long to-do-list for the delegates!
We recommend you contact Susan if you are looking for help with your Internet Marketing strategy.

Alistair Kent and Dave Southey from Tineke
Alistair and Dave helped us demystify “Open Source Content Managed Web sites” and created lots of interest in this area. So much so that we and the Axis Centre are now looking at putting on some proper training sessions on for Joomla and Wordpress. Watch this space.

Paul Shaw from E2Z

Paul Shaw joined Alistair and Dave at the CMS event and told us all about the advantages of a bespoke CMS system and showed us examples of the different customisations available.
Some of the businesses on the programme is currently having new bespoke sites done with Paul, so make sure you quiz them if you are considering something similar.
